A flurry of rumours seem to be appearing surrounding the launch of a new iPhone in 2009.

Apparently the chinese are preparing a production run of an iPone nano, a non 3G version of the iPhone with less sophistication but the same intuitive interface.
It is suggested that it will be the same height as the new ipod nano, a little wider and a little thicker.
Obviously I have no idea if the rumours are true but the sceptic in me wonders whether the MacWorld Conference opening on the 5th January might have something to do with this.
Interestingly, Apple have announced that MacWorld 2009 will be the last MacWorld conference that they will attend, apparently trade shows are no longer cost effective. The credit crunch hits us all!
