Well it seems that sunny Suffolk has missed the crippling snow that caused chaos across the rest of the UK. We only had one day of snow and that was all gone by lunch time. Typically we had an electrical fault on the fire alarm system whilst it was still snowing resulting in over 1200 students and staff standing on the field in the freezing weather!
I do wonder about the attendance figures though, with 88% attendance on a snowy day isn't bad but compared to enforced closure figures that don't count towards your attendance it could be judged as poor. I wonder how many schools made the decision to close just to keep their figures up?
