Those of you who are regular readers will have noticed a certain lull in my rambling entries.
I have to admit that I have been more than a little snowed under. I seem to spend my weekends planning. Over the past three months we have written a whole school development plan, a National Challenge "Raising Attainment Plan" (RAP), a behaviour plan, an attendance plan and of course the SEF. It is not until you write the Headteachers report to the Governors that you realise just how much has happened.
Probably the most challenging has been the SEF. We have been selected as a school that might be inspected under the new pilot arrangements. Being inspected wasn't a surprise, we were due in March anyway but the pilot SEF is very different, much better in my opinion. It has taken almost two weeks to gather the evidence and all weekend to finalise and upload but it is finally done!
Hoorah!
